NITDA and NACCIMA Join Forces to Boost Nigerian Startups

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) announced a partnership on October 19, 2026, to connect Nigerian technology startups with private sector investors and corporate buyers. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between technology development and market demand by utilizing NACCIMA’s extensive network of over 120 chambers and industrial conglomerates.
Under the memorandum of understanding, NACCIMA will facilitate investment for NITDA-backed startups and support initiatives for enterprise financing. A key focus is mobilizing private sector support for the Digital Nigeria International Conference and Exhibition (DNICE) 2026, scheduled for November 10 to 12 in Abuja.
The partnership also targets 10,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Nigeria. NACCIMA National President Jani Ibrahim emphasized the importance of connecting various sectors with digital solutions to enhance productivity and resilience in the economy.
