NMDPRA Boss Resigns Amid Corruption Allegations, Replacement Nominees Named

Farouk Ahmed has resigned as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) following corruption allegations involving Aliko Dangote, President of Dangote Industries Limited, and Gbenga Komolafe of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC). President Bola Tinubu has nominated replacements, Oritsemeyiwa Amanorisewo and Saidu Aliyu Moham, for the vacant positions.
