Nnamdi Kanu's Ex-Counsel to Challenge Court Ruling on Life Imprisonment

Nnamdi Kanu's ex-counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, expressed dissatisfaction with the court's verdict sentencing Kanu to life imprisonment on terrorism-related charges. The Federal High Court in Abuja convicted Kanu on seven counts and imposed various penalties, including life imprisonment and fines.

Ejimakor criticized the judgment as unjust and announced plans to appeal the decision immediately. Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was also restricted from accessing social media and his radio station.

The legal team aims to challenge the conviction and sentence through the appeals process.
