NNL to Boost Super 4 Prize Money for 2026 Tournament

The Nigeria National League (NNL) is set to increase the prize money for the upcoming Super 4 tournament, which will take place from May 1 to May 8, 2026, at Remo Star Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State. Unlike the previous year's Super 8, which produced four teams promoted to the elite league, the Super 4 will determine the overall winner through a round-robin format involving four teams that won various conferences during the 2025-2026 NNL football season.

Mr. Georg Aluo, the chairman of the NNL, stated that discussions with sponsors are already underway to boost the prize money for the winner.

He emphasized the importance of ensuring that participating teams are well taken care of and can enjoy the hospitality available at Remo Star facilities. The NNL is committed to enhancing the organization of the tournament and ensuring that individual awards are assured for this year's Super 4.
