Sunshine Stars Launch Open Player Screening on June 5

Sunshine Stars, a club in the Nigeria Nation League (NNL), has commenced an open screening exercise to discover new players aimed at strengthening the team for the upcoming 2026/27 season. The screening will be conducted by experienced tactician Duke Udi and is set to begin on Friday, June 5.

Interested players are expected to report for training at 8:00 AM during the weekdays. The screening exercise will take place at the Odsfa Game Village along Oda Road in Akure.

The selected players will join the retained players as Sunshine Stars aims to return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after a disappointing last season, where they finished fifth with 25 points at the end of the 2025/26 NNL season.
