NNPC Remits N12.1 Trillion, Reports Stronger Revenue in 2025

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has remitted N12.1 trillion to the Federation Account from January to October 2025, showcasing improved financial performance. The company reported a revenue of N4.358 trillion and a profit before tax of N502 billion during this period.

Despite operational challenges in the upstream oil sector, NNPC's commercial performance improved, with steady crude oil and condensate production. The company attributed fluctuations in output to maintenance activities on key assets.

Additionally, NNPC's gas expansion program, including the AKK gas pipeline project, is progressing well, with significant advancements expected in 2026 to boost gas supply.
