NNPCL Reduces Petrol Price by 10 Naira in Abuja Amid Ex-Depot Price Drop

The Nigerian state-owned oil firm, NNPCL, has decreased the pump price of petrol in Abuja from 945 to 930 naira per liter. This reduction comes after a 10 naira drop in ex-depot prices by major depot owners, including Dangote Refinery and Ardova.

NNPCL's retail outlets along Kubwa Expressway, Gwarimpa, Wuse Zone 4, and Wuse Zone 6 have implemented the price cut. Independent fill stations like Ranoil in Gwarimpa have also adjusted their prices.

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) spokesperson, Chinedu Ukadike, mentioned that the market is experiencing further downward pressure due to intensified competition.
