NNPCL Targets 2 Million Barrels/Day Oil Production by 2026

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has unveiled a target to produce two million barrels of crude oil per day by 2026. The company is optimistic about the cooperation of pipeline host communities, particularly along the ongoing Cooper Pipeline and Eastern Corridor Project.

Monthly stakeholder meetings are being held with host communities, as revealed by the Pipeline Monitoring Office (PMO). Notable achievements include increased security operations, stakeholder inclusivity, and empowerment programs.

King Philip Osaro Obel commended the efforts and urged the federal government to support regional development projects to boost oil output and revenue.
