NNPP chieftain writes US embassy, demands review of denied visa application

Ambassador Comrade Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, a chieftain of the NNPP, has written to the United States Embassy requesting a formal review of the recent visa denial issued to his wife, Mrs. Oyindamola Motunrola Ajadi.

The denial, dated August 4, 2025, was allegedly issued erroneously without a specific reason, in violation of bilateral diplomatic demands. The letter, signed by the head of the Izunya Izunya law firm, Barrister Isaac Izunya, argues that the refusal was vague, generic, and improperly drafted, lacking key details such as the applicant's name and passport information.

The legal team emphasized that the Ajadis have strong ties to Nigeria and other countries, and the lack of transparency in the visa denial process has caused psychological trauma. They have demanded a review of CCTV footage from the visa interview, clear reasons for the denial, and intervention from the Ambassador in Abuja.
