NNPP Demands Governor Yusuf's Resignation Amid APC Defection in Kano

The NNPP has demanded the formal resignation of Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf after his defection to the APC. The NNPP leadership, led by Elmasud Doguwa, emphasized the need for Governor Yusuf to follow party rules and submit a formal resignation letter.

Failure to do so could lead to legal complications, as the NNPP maintains that Yusuf is still a registered member until his resignation is accepted. The move comes amid speculation of Yusuf defecting to the APC ahead of the 2023 governorship elections.
