NNPP Denies Senator Kwankwaso's Alleged Talks to Join APC, Calls Reports False

The New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) has refuted claims of Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso engaging in talks to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC). NNPP's Public Secretary, Ladipo Johnson, expressed deep disappointment at the falsehood circulating in the media.

The reports alleged that Kwankwaso had met with APC leader Bola Tinubu to discuss switching parties, which NNPP vehemently denied. Johnson urged Nigerians to disregard the reports as a poor attempt to damage Kwankwaso's name.

This comes amidst speculation following Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf's rumored support for APC, which has led to disagreements with Kwankwaso. Kwankwaso's influence and reputation have been questioned in light of these alleged talks with APC.
