NNPP Claims No Crisis Ahead of 2027 Elections in Oyo

Hon. Anthoni Sundai Makind, the Oyo State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), declared that the party remains the only political entity without internal crises as the 2027 elections approach.

This statement was made during the first NNPP state executive meeting held in Ibadan. Hon.

Makind urged Nigerians to disregard allegations against the party's presidential candidate, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso, asserting that there are attempts by political elements to undermine the party's image. He emphasized that Kwakwanso has resisted efforts to persuade him to leave the NNPP, which aims to maintain its political strength ahead of the elections.

Hon. Makind highlighted the importance of religious tolerance among members, noting that he and others attend church programs together.

He also mentioned the party's commitment to youth development, including providing scholarships. Furthermore, he assured party members that they are welcome to contest positions in the upcoming elections without any imposition.

Mr. Kunl Bamidel, the NNPP Deputy Chairman, encouraged party members to represent Kwakwanso's interests at the ward level.
