The party's National Publicity Secretary debunked claims of a leadership change, citing a Federal High Court ruling on September 4, 2025, that did not grant such an application.

The ADC accused mischief makers of spreading false news and attempting to mislead the public. The party emphasized that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has not recognized any leadership change.
