Atiku's Son Defects to APC, Backs Tinubu for 2023 Presidency Amid Family Political Contrasts

Abba Atiku, the son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has officially joined the APC in Adamawa State, declaring his support for Bola Tinubu's potential presidential candidacy in 2023. Abba praised Tinubu's leadership style and urged Nigerians to rally behind the APC.

This defection comes amidst differing political alignments within the Atiku family, as Atiku's first son, Adamu Atiku, continues to be a prominent member of the PDP and serves in the energy development commission under Governor Ahmadu Fintiri. The APC's zonal vice chairman, Alhaji Isa Bagalti, presented Abba with his membership card, emphasizing the party's strength and Tinubu's credibility as a presidential contender.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Jamil Yusuf, a key APC figure in Adamawa State, highlighted Tinubu's leadership qualities and dismissed any credible rivals to his presidential aspirations.
