NOC Praises President Tinubu for Sports Achievements

The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), led by Engr. Habu Ahm Gumel, issued a congratulatory message to President Bola Ahm Tinubu for his visionary leadership and unwavering support for the Nigerian sports sector.

In a statement released by the NOC's public relations office, it was noted that President Tinubu's proactive approach to sports development has resulted in significant achievements, including the strategic appointments of Mallam Shehu Dikko as Chairman and Hon. Bukola Olopade as Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC).

These appointments are seen as masterstrokes in sports administration, contributing to a paradigm shift in the sector. The NOC highlighted that under President Tinubu's leadership, Nigeria has secured 373 medals in international competitions and attracted ₦50 billion in private sector investments, creating 140,000 jobs.
