Nollywood Actor, Odunlade Adekola’s Father Laid To Rest

Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola's father, a cleric, passed away in July at the age of 84 and was laid to rest after a series of funeral activities in Ekiti and Ogun states. The ceremony began with a service and songs on August 18 at the Christ Apostolic Church in Akole, Abeokuta, followed by a Christian wake on Wednesday in Otun Ekiti.

The interment took place on Thursday in Otun Ekiti, followed by a thanksgiving service and reception. Several Nollywood stars, including Ibrahim Chatta, Muyiwa Ademola, Eniola Ajao, and Ireti Osayemi, joined Odunlade's family and sympathizers to pay their last respects.

In other news, the Nigeria Police Force dismissed a viral wanted poster of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo circulating online as fake, clarifying that the poster did not originate from the police and urging the public to ignore.
