Nord Automobiles Launches Tavet Motion for EVs in Nigeria, Aims to Revolutionize Auto Industry

Nord Automobiles has introduced Tavet Motion, a subsidiary dedicated to EVs, unveiling three new models in Lagos, Nigeria. The launch event, attended by top military and government officials, signals a significant advancement in Nigeria's auto industry.

Nord's CEO, Oluwatobi Ajayi, emphasized Tavet's role in Africa's active participation in the global EV revolution, aiming to create jobs and promote renewable energy. The company's vision includes building an entire EV ecosystem, from manufacturing to support services, aligning with Nigeria's clean energy goals and the African Union's agenda.

Analysts project Tavet to capture 15% of Nigeria's emerging EV market within two years.
