Zamfara Senator Declares Northern Support for Tinubu in 2027 Presidential Bid

Former Zamfara State Governor and Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdul Aziz Yari, stated that Northerners have no choice but to back Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election. Yari highlighted Tinubu's crucial role in supporting President Muhammadu Buhari's emergence in 2015 and emphasized the need for Northern Nigeria to reciprocate that support.

The Senator made these remarks during the installation of the Obaloyin of Yorubaland by the Alaafin of Oyo. Yari pledged to promote unity between the North and South West regions to strengthen cultural bonds and cooperation.
