African Leaders Push for Intra-African Trade Growth at Algiers Trade Fair

The African Bank Afreximbank highlighted the low trade volume among Africans compared to other continents. To address this, Afreximbank organizes the Trade Fair every two years to facilitate trade information sharing and connections across the continent.

Supported by the African Union, the fair aims to promote the Common African Market and the Africa Continental Free Trade Area. This initiative seeks to foster economic growth and development by enhancing trade opportunities for African businesses and bridging the market information gap.
