Abia Warriors to Play Home Matches at Enyimba Stadium

Abia Warriors, a football club based in Umuneke, has announced that they will host their home matches at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba for the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. This decision comes as a result of ongoing renovation work at their home ground, the Umuahia Township Stadium.

The team's head coach, Imama Amapakabo, is preparing for the season by relocating the squad to Aba for a closed-door camping exercise. Last season, Abia Warriors had a disappointing performance, exiting the CAF Confederation Cup in the preliminary round and finishing seventh in the NPFL, despite hopes of a top-three finish.

Their first match of the new season is scheduled against Kun Khalifat FC on Sunday, August 30.
