Shooting Stars Triumph 3-2 Over Nasarawa United in NPFL

On Matchday 36 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Eric Chelle, the coach of Shooting Stars, oversaw a thrilling 3-2 victory against Nasarawa United. The match took place in Ibadan, where Shooting Stars initially took control with two goals from Lucki Emmanuel within the first half hour.

However, Nasarawa United equalized in the 57th minute through Jofrank Istifanu and Habibu Alakija. The decisive moment came in the 77th minute when Qamar Adegok, a former player for Nasarawa United, scored the winning goal for Shooting Stars.

This victory brought Shooting Stars to 57 points, securing their 10th place in the league and keeping them in contention for the golden boot with two games remaining. The team is also aiming for a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup, with their next match against Niger Tornadoes scheduled for Tuesday.
