Katsina United Chairman, Surajo Umar, is focused on securing a continental ticket as the team continues to perform well in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL). The team recently earned a cash reward for an away draw against Shoot Stars in Ibadan, lifting them to 10th place in the league table.

The chairman, along with Surajo Yazid Abukur of Katsina State Sports Commission, rewarded the squad with a bonus of ₦520,000 for their efforts. The team is determined to improve and secure a spot in continental competitions in the upcoming NPFL seasons.
