Tunde Sanni has been asked to step aside as the technical adviser of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, Kwara United. The decision follows Kwara United's defeat to Abia Warriors in a matchday seven fixture, with assistant coach Ashifat Sulaiman taking over immediately.

Sanni's departure comes after Kwara United's early exit from the CAF Confederation Cup, facing pressure due to the team's performance. Emeka Obioma's penalty secured victory for Abia Warriors, leading to the coaching change.
