NPFL to Honour Anas, Ogunmodede in Abuja on Sept 2

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) will honor standout performer Yusuf Anas and coach Daniel Ogunmodede in Abuja on September 2. The award reception was initially scheduled for a different date but was rescheduled due to the duo's engagement in preparing for the CHAN Eagles team.

NPFL Chairman Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye announced the new date, highlighting the league's commitment to promoting excellence and rewarding outstanding performance. Anas, the top scorer for Nasarawa United with 17 goals, and Ogunmodede, who led Remo Stars to their first title since the club's founding, will be recognized for their achievements.

Elegbeleye also mentioned that the award winners will receive a commemorative plaque during the event.
