NRS Chairman Advocates for Nigeria's Economic Growth Through Diversification and Export-Led Strategies

Dr. Zacch Adedeji, Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, highlighted the need for sustained political will beyond election cycles to drive Nigeria's economic prosperity.

Speaking at Obafemi Awolowo University in Osun State, he stressed the importance of diversifying the economy, prioritizing complex goods over raw materials, and adopting data-driven processes to identify export opportunities. Adedeji urged the elimination of policy inconsistencies and alignment with global economic trends.

He emphasized the significance of export-oriented policies and the need for every government action to support integration into the global economy. President Bola Tinubu's efforts to rebuild the economy were also acknowledged.
