NSCDC Joins 20 Days of Eloquence for World Record Attempt

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has officially joined the "20 Days of Eloquence" initiative, which is currently underway in Lagos, aiming to set a Guinness World Record for the longest public speaking relay. This event, approved by the Commandant General Prof.

Ahm Abubakar Audi, runs from April 1 to April 21, 2026, at the state level. Adedotun Keshinro, the Lagos State Command representative, has encouraged NSCDC personnel to view themselves as worthy ambassadors of the Corps and to excel on an international stage.

The NSCDC team, including Ubong Essien, Dean of the School of Eloquence, and representatives Adebimp Bada and Oluwaseun Abolurin, are actively participating in this record-breaking attempt. The event serves as a strategic platform for NSCDC to showcase its core responsibilities, including the protection of national assets and infrastructure, as well as disaster crisis management.

As of April 11, the initiative has reached its halfway milestone, with the NSCDC successfully completing the first half of the relay.
