NUJ Hails Akwa Ibom CP's Professionalism, Seeks Tighter Security Measures

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Akwa Ibom State has lauded the professionalism of Commissioner of Police (CP) Baba Mohammed Azare and called for enhanced security around the NUJ secretariat. During a visit to the State Command Headquarters, NUJ Chairman Comrade Nsibiet John commended CP Azare's proactive security measures, leading to a decrease in reported security incidents across the state.

The NUJ emphasized the importance of a secure environment for journalists and urged the Police Command to increase patrols around their premises. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between the police and the media in ensuring the safety and protection of lives and property in the state.
