Nuno Espirito Santo Criticises Nottingham Forest’s Transfer Business

Nuno Espirito Santo has criticized Nottingham Forest's transfer business as they return to European competition for the first time in 30 years and begin their Premier League campaign against Brentford at the City Ground on Sunday. The coach, who guided the club to seventh place last season, expressed concerns about the uncertainty surrounding new signings affecting the team's preparation.

Forest is reportedly close to signing players like Manchester City's James McAtee, Ipswich winger Omari Hutchinson, Rennes forward Arnaud Kalimuendo, and Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz. Nuno aims to bring in at least four players, including a goalkeeper, winger, and striker.

Despite interest from Tottenham, winger Anthony Elanga has signed a new contract with Forest. Nuno emphasized the team's lack of readiness, with only one goal scored in their recent matches, reflecting their current situation.
