NUPRC Praised for Implementing Community Projects in Niger-Delta Region

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has been commended for its role in executing community projects in the Niger-Delta region. The NUPRC oversaw the implementation of 500 projects in oil-producing states, focusing on areas like healthcare, education, water facilities, and skill centers.

The Niger Delta Citizen Alliance (NDCA) highlighted the transparency of the projects through the HostCompli dashboard, urging oil companies to comply with regulations to sustain ongoing initiatives. Ogbobetta Nelli, the Secretary-General of NDCA, emphasized the importance of maintaining trust between oil producers and communities.
