Nwaiwu Committed to Trabzonspor Amid Premier League Interest

Chibuik Nwaiwu, a 22-year-old defender, has expressed his commitment to Trabzonspor amid serious interest from Premier League clubs, including West Ham United and Fulham. Trabzonspor rejected Fulham's offer of approximately £20 million, stating that they value Nwaiwu between £35 million and £40 million.

Nwaiwu joined Trabzonspor from Austrian side Wolfsberg on January 5 for £5 million and has since made 21 appearances, scoring three goals and providing one assist. His performances contributed to Trabzonspor's success in the Turkish Cup and earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles.

Nwaiwu prefers to remain in Turkey to ensure regular playing time, especially as Trabzonspor is set to compete in the UEFA Conference League next season. He has no immediate pressure to negotiate a transfer, as he has four and a half years remaining on his contract with the club.
