Nasarawa Amazons Earn 200,000 Naira for NWFL Victory

The Nasarawa Amazons, a team in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), were awarded a cash gift of 200,000 Naira for their hard-fought 1-0 victory against the Dannaz Ladies. The match took place at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday, where Onyekachi Deborah scored the only goal of the game.

This win positioned the Nasarawa Amazons in second place in the NWFL Group B table, accumulating a total of 22 points from 11 matches. The cash reward was presented by Barrister Isaac Danladi Dole, the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Justice.

The Amazons are set to face the Ahudianynem Queens in their next match.
