NYSC Announces 2026 Batch 'A' Stream II Orientation Dates

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced the orientation schedule for the 2026 Batch 'A' Stream II. The orientation course will begin on April 22, 2026, and will run simultaneously across 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, concluding on May 12, 2026.

Registration for prospective corps members will be open from April 22, 2026, until midnight on April 24, 2026. The swearing-in ceremony for the corps members is scheduled for April 24, 2026.

The NYSC has advised corps members to prioritize safety during their travel to orientation camps, warning against night journeys and urging them to break their journeys if traveling after 6:00 PM. They can seek lodging at military formations, police stations, or the homes of traditional rulers.

Additionally, the NYSC has provided updates regarding supplementary online registration for prospective corps members, which will take place from April 9 to April 11, 2026, for those whose details were recently uploaded but not fully registered.
