NYSC Urges Members to Make Lasting Impact on Host Communities

The Head of Civil Service, Esther Walson Jack, urged NYSC members to go beyond routine services and leave a lasting impact on their host communities during an event in Abuja. The NYSC honored outstanding members with the Nation's Honor Award, emphasizing the importance of community service as an enduring legacy.

Past NYSC President, Dr. Emmanuel Eluu, commended members for their resilience and hard work, while Umar Babayo, a recent award recipient, highlighted the unexpected recognition for his community service efforts in Bauchi and Daura.

Plans were announced to establish an award committee to promote selfless service and community development among NYSC members nationwide.
