NYSC Postpones 2026 Batch B Stream II Orientation Dates

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the postponement of the 2026 Batch B Stream II Orientation due to renovations being carried out at the orientation camps by state governments. In a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the NYSC confirmed that the Cut-Off and Swearing-in Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, August 14, while the Closing Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, September 1.

The NYSC has advised all Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) deployed to the two states to avoid traveling at night and to prioritize their safety while heading to the orientation camps. The Director-General of the NYSC, Olakunle Nafiu, expressed his wishes for a safe journey and a successful orientation exercise for the prospective corps members.
