NYSC Postpones Orientation Camps for Enugu, Osun States

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced a one-week extension for the opening of orientation camps for prospective corps members (PCMs) in Enugu and Osun states. This decision, communicated through a press statement by the NYSC's Director of Public Relations, Carolin Emubu, is due to ongoing renovation work at the camps.

The orientation exercise in these two states will now commence on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, and conclude on Monday, May 18, 2026. In contrast, the orientation exercise for the remaining 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, and end on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

The NYSC emphasized that the adjustment in dates is necessary to accommodate the renovation work being carried out by the state government, ensuring that the camps are ready for the incoming corps members.
