NYSC Changes Orientation Dates for Enugu, Osun States

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced a shift in the orientation dates for prospective corps members deployed to Enugu and Osun states for the 2026 Batch Stream II. The orientation course will now commence on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, and conclude on Monday, May 18, 2026.

This adjustment was necessitated by ongoing renovations at the camps, as stated by NYSC Director Carolin Emubu. The NYSC emphasized the importance of adhering to the revised dates to avoid confusion among the prospective corps members.

Additionally, the orientation exercise for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, April 22, 2026, to Tuesday, May 12, 2026. The NYSC has urged all affected prospective corps members to prepare for their deployment and ensure safe travels to their respective states.

Earlier reports indicated that the NYSC portal became active early Monday morning, allowing users to check their deployment details, although some experienced difficulties due to high traffic.
