Obagi FC Wins TotalEnergies 2025 Football Tournament in River State

Obagi FC emerged as the winner of the TotalEnergies 2025 Football Tournament, defeating Akabta FC 1-0 in the final held at the Obit Civic Center. Obinna Godstim of Obagi FC was named the best player of the tournament, with Michael Charl Oboburu of Oboburu FC as the second best player.

The tournament, which featured 18 teams including Odiemerenyi, Rumuekp, Abarikpo, and others, was jointly sponsored by NNPC and TEPNG to promote peace and talent development in the OML58 host community in River State. Olivia Cassassol, the Deputy Managing Director of the joint venture, highlighted the importance of investing in youth for the future.

Usman Bello expressed satisfaction with the talent development initiative, while Shedrach Chukwu, the Chairman of Ogba Egbema Ndoni LGA, thanked TotalEnergies for organizing the tournament.
