Obasa Supports Renewed Hope Initiative in Abuja Visit

Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, expressed his strong support for the Renewed Hope Initiative during a visit to the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Sunday. This initiative, led by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, aims to expand benefits to grassroots communities, particularly during the Ramadan and Lent periods.

Obasa highlighted the importance of the initiative in addressing the needs of women, children, and youth across Nigeria. He commended President Bola Tinubu for his leadership and the significant impact of the initiative, which includes food distribution and menstrual pad projects for young girls in secondary schools.

Obasa called on governors from all 36 states to support the initiative, emphasizing that it is crucial for the welfare of all Nigerians, especially vulnerable groups. He reiterated that the First Lady's efforts are not solely for personal gain but are aimed at uplifting the community.
