He noted that the company's success is part of a broader shift towards technology-driven ventures, which has been facilitated by notable reforms in the telecommunications sector. Obasanjo highlighted the importance of seizing opportunities and acting on emerging prospects, referencing Nigeria's auction of GSM licenses during his presidency, which generated significant revenue and laid the groundwork for the current fintech boom.
