Obiano Calls for Investigation into NAF Crash Killing 25

Willie Obiano, the former governor of Anambra State, has demanded a comprehensive investigation into the Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash that occurred near Igbokoda in the Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, resulting in the deaths of 25 individuals. In a statement shared on his X account, Obiano expressed his condolences to the victims' families and stressed the importance of understanding the circumstances surrounding the crash.

He called for a thorough examination of the aircraft's maintenance history, operational procedures, and other relevant factors. Obiano insisted that the findings of the investigation should be made public to ensure transparency and restore public confidence.
