OGC Nice Rules Out Terem Moffi's Return Amid Controversy

OGC Nice co-president Mauric Cohen has confirmed that Nigerian striker Terem Moffi will not return to the club after a tumultuous January transfer window. Moffi, along with Jérémy Boga, left Nice following an incident where Moffi was seen laughing with the president of Lorient after a 3-1 defeat, which marked Nice's sixth consecutive loss.

This incident led to Moffi being attacked by an angry fan at the club's training ground. Moffi's contract with Nice runs until the summer of 2027, and while he is currently on loan at FC Porto, it remains unclear if Porto will activate their buy option.

Jérémy Boga, who is also on loan at Juventus, has a potential buy clause of €5 million. Cohen stated that neither player will return to Nice, regardless of whether their loan options are triggered.
