Ogun State Government Commits to Revamp Water Sector for Improved Service Delivery

The Ogun State government, led by Governor Dapo Abiodun, is focused on revitalizing the water sector to improve service delivery and align with sustainable development goals. Special Adviser Damilola Otubanjo disclosed ongoing efforts to create a master plan aimed at enhancing water access and system efficiency.

Stakeholder workshops and consultations with the Federal Ministry of Water Resources are being conducted to develop a strategic plan for sustainable water governance. The goal is to attract investments, ensure reliable water access, and upgrade non-functioning water schemes across the state.
