Ogun State Government Commits to Fixing Ota Roads Amidst Protests, Warns Against Blackmailers

The Ogun State government, led by Governor Dapo Abiodun, reiterated its dedication to rehabilitating major roads in Ota during a meeting with the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ota branch. The government plans to start construction work on six major roads, including Joju-Koro, Otun-Navy, Isikola-Ilo, Awela-Oju, and more.

The project will be executed in four phases, with the first and second phases set to commence immediately. The government cautioned against political adversaries attempting to exploit residents' concerns for selfish gains.

The NBA delegation's engagement was praised, emphasizing the need for genuine efforts to improve infrastructure.
