Ohanaeze Blames Southeast Leaders for Poor INEC Registration in Igbo Land

Ohanaeze Ndigbo criticized southeast leaders for the low voter registration figures in Igbo land during the recent INEC online exercise. The region recorded a significantly lower number of new registrants compared to the national average, with Anambra singled out for poor mobilization efforts.

Ohanaeze faulted both political and traditional leaders for the inadequate sensitization of citizens. The group highlighted the irresponsible conduct of some governors and traditional rulers, branding the southeast's performance as unacceptable.
