SPE Port Harcourt to Host Oil Production Summit 2026

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Port Harcourt Section 103 is set to host a well intervention summit from March 31 to April 1, 2026, at the Dr. Obi Wali International Conference Centre.

Dr. Pringle Egb, the chairman of SPE Port Harcourt Section 103, emphasized the urgency of the summit during a time when Nigeria's oil sector faces significant challenges, including declining production and high intervention costs.

The summit aims to drive practical solutions through collaboration across the industry, focusing on operational excellence, cost optimization, and regulatory alignment.
