Edo APC Endorses Bola Tinubu for 2027 Re-election Bid

Edo APC, led by Governor Okpebholo, officially endorsed Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential re-election bid during a gathering of political figures in Edo Central. The event was attended by key members of the APC, including Dennis Idahosa, Adam Oshiomhole, and Abubakar Momoh.

The endorsement was marked by the defection of several new members from the PDP and Labour Party to boost the ruling party's strength. Governor Okpebholo praised Tinubu's commitment to Edo State's development, while former Governor Oshiomhole lauded Tinubu's financial support system and Okpebholo's leadership style.

The motion to adopt Tinubu as the APC's choice for the 2027 election was supported by Senator Joe Ikpea.
