Edo Governor Okpebholo Vows Partnership with NUJ for State Development

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, pledged to collaborate with the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) to drive the state's development, particularly in infrastructure. Governor Okpebholo highlighted the progress of ongoing projects across the state, with some nearing 80% completion and set to be finished soon.

He emphasized his commitment to delivering infrastructure to enhance the lives of Edo residents, including roads, schools, and essential facilities. The Governor also expressed concerns about alleged encroachment on land designated for the Edo Specialist Hospital, urging for the protection of public assets.
