Edo Governor Okpebholo Dismisses Attorney-General, Appoints New Commissioners

Edo State Governor Okpebholo has sacked Attorney-General Samson Osagie and appointed new commissioners, including Prof. Roland Otaru.

The governor also expanded the number of ministries from 21 to 28 as part of efforts to enhance coordination and efficiency in governance. The reshuffle aims to strengthen administrative capacity and meet the needs of the people.

Notably, key figures like Paul Ohonbamu and Dr. Jerri Uwangu have been reassigned to different ministries.

Osagie thanked the governor for the opportunity to serve but was not assigned a new role.
