Olajumoke Abegunde Recognized for Humanitarian Work

Olajumoke Abegunde, founder of the Jummi Care Foundation, has received global recognition for her significant humanitarian impact. Her commitment to uplifting the less privileged has led to targeted interventions benefiting thousands, including 3,000 widows and elderly citizens in Ondo State.

The foundation provides humanitarian relief and social support, while also empowering 5,000 women through economic opportunities and small business initiatives. Abegunde's outreach includes various programs such as medical support for orphanages and entrepreneurship contests aimed at youth.

Recently, she was honored in Brampton, Canada, during the Africa Invest Brampton Forum held from May 8-10, where she participated in a free skill acquisition program. Mayor Patrick Brown presented her with a certificate of appreciation for her outstanding contributions to community development.

Abegunde reaffirmed her commitment to expanding opportunities for women and youth, pledging to continue fostering growth and stability in entrepreneurship across borders.
