Olubadan of Ibadanland to Promote Six High Senior Chiefs in Traditional Ceremony

The Olubadan of Ibadanland will promote six high senior chiefs on Friday to fill vacancies created by the enthronement of Oba Ladoja. The promotion is part of a traditional process to maintain the hierarchy and stability of the Ibadan chieftaincy system.

Promotions include Oba Eddy Oyewole, Oba Kola Daisi, Oba Hamidu Ajibade, Oba Adebayo Akande, Senior Chief Lekan Alabi, and Senior Chief Kola Babalola. The ceremony will take place at the newly completed Olubadan Palace in Ok Aremo, Ibadan North Local Government Area.
